This qualification is internally assessed and internally quality assured by Centre staff and externally quality assured by Innovate Awarding External Quality Advisors (EQAs).

 

Aims and Objectives of the Qualification

The IAO Level 2 Certificate in Warehousing and Storage is designed for Learners working in warehousing and storage. The aim of this qualification is to contribute to the skills, knowledge and overall performance of the logistics industry's workforce. It provides a first insight into the principles and processes of warehousing and will aid career progression.

 

Entry Guidance

There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. Learners must be aged 16 or above.
This qualification is suitable for those who work within the Warehousing and Distribution and Logistics sector. It provides Learners with an opportunity to demonstrate their experience in a wide range of job roles such as Warehouse Operative, Warehouse Assistant, Logistics Operative.

 

Progression Opportunities

Learners who achieve this qualification could progress into other areas such as management qualifications, warehousing, logistics and warehousing at higher levels and the IAO Level 2 Award in Employment Rights and Responsibilities in the Logistics Sector as well as the Intermediate Apprenticeship at Level 2 in Warehousing and Storage.
