This qualification is internally assessed and internally quality assured by Centre staff and externally quality assured by Innovate Awarding External Quality Advisors (EQAs).
Aims and objectives of the qualification
The Level 3 Award in IT User Skills (ITQ) aims to meet the needs of learners who are working or want to work with an IT or ICT role across a number of industries. This qualification provides learners with the opportunity to develop their IT skills for personal use or in preparation for employment or career progression.
Entry guidance
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. This qualification is suitable for those who are looking or wish to work in an IT role. It provides learners with an opportunity to demonstrate their competence and knowledge within an IT environment.
Progression opportunities
Learners who achieve this qualification could progress to further qualifications in the IAO IT User Skills suite at Level 3 or sector specific qualifications such as:
- Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Business and Administration
- Level 3 Diploma in Business and Administration
- Level 2 Certificate in Principles of Customer Service
