Aims and Objectives of the Qualification
This qualiﬁcation is designed to build the knowledge and skills needed when working with children and young people from birth to 19 years. It covers a diverse range of job roles and occupational areas.
There are no formal entry requirements for this qualification. This qualification is suitable for those who work with children and young people in a supervisory or senior role. It provides Learners with an opportunity to
demonstrate their competence in a wide range of job roles and settings.
Learners who achieve this qualification could progress into employment in the children and young people’s workforce in health and social care, youth and community worker. Possible roles include care worker, foster carer, youth or community worker.
- Level 3 Diploma in Health and Social Care (Adults) for England
- Level 5 Diploma in Leadership for Health and Social Care and Children and Young People’s Services (England)
