This qualification is internally assessed and internally quality assured by Centre staff and externally quality assured by Innovate Awarding External Quality Advisors (EQAs).
Aims and Objectives of the Qualification
The aim of this qualification is to improve the fitness and health of Emergency Services employees. The qualification aims to give Learners the skills and knowledge needed to operate safely and effectively in the workplace, and remain healthy and active.
Learners must be 18 years old or above to take this qualification. This qualification is suitable for those who work within the Emergency Services sector.
It provides Learners with an opportunity to demonstrate their skills and knowledge to deliver fitness sessions and to develop an understanding of diet, nutrition and healthy living to improve individual well-being.
Learners who achieve this qualification could progress into further qualifications such as:
IAO Level 2 Certificate in Fitness Instructing IAO Level 3 Award in Nutrition for Physical Activity IAO Level 3 Diploma in Fitness Instructing and Personal Training (QCF)
