How will my End-Point Assessments be conducted?

Most assessments will be conducted online using Microsoft Teams with your allocated Innovate Awarding End-Point Assessor.

If your End-Point Assessment includes an observation-based component then this will be carried out in your workplace with your allocated Assessor. Your assessments will be booked at you Planning Meeting and the arrangements agreed with you at that stage.

What is the Planning Meeting?

The Planning Meeting is a phone call between the apprentice, their line manager and an Innovate Awarding representative from our Central Bookings Team. This call lasts no more than 30 minutes and is when the End-Point Assessment components will be scheduled.

This is also an opportunity to ask questions and ensure that everything is clear before the assessments begin.

When will my End-Point Assessments be?

End-Point Assessments will be scheduled following your Gateway with your Training Provider and Employer, at your Planning Meeting with one of our Assessors.

Where the assessment plan allows, we aim to take you from Gateway to Certification within 30 days.

How do I find out my grade once I have completed my End-Point Assessment?

Your final grade will be communicated to you by your Training Provider.

Where is my certificate?

If you have not yet received your certificate, there is no need to worry. We submit your record following completion to the ESFA, who will then process your completion and send your certificate directly to your workplace.

If you have not received your certificate two (2) months after your assessments, please get in touch and we will look into this for you.

Can I appeal my result for a qualification sat with Innovate Awarding?

We do have an appeals process in place should you not be happy with the result you have received from us. Please do read our Appeals Policy ahead of completing the Appeals form.
