Innovate Awarding works with a number of different partners both strategically and operationally.
Our most important partners are our approved centres. We currently work with over 100 colleges and independent training providers throughout England, Wales and Northern Ireland. Some offer niche provision, others operate on a national and international basis across a range of vocational areas.
Not all of our centres rely on public funding to support their learners and some operate on a full cost recovery basis. However, where we can, we develop qualifications to ensure that they are fundable or are eligible for loans in the current environment. Our main concern is to produce qualifications that are fit for purpose.
Our partner Vision2Learn, part of the Capita Group, provides e-learning courses for some of Innovate Awarding’s Level 2 qualifications which are eligible for ASB funding.
We are working with a number of employers and organisations to produce bespoke qualifications. These include:
- Evans Cycles
- Ashburton College
- The Financialist Academy
- The British Taekwondo Association
- Avon and Somerset Fire Service
- Aviation Skills Partnership
Other partners include Virtual College with whom we have developed a VOOC for Active Leisure due to be launched in schools soon.
We also work with other awarding partners for certain projects and we are currently looking at a consortium approach to Functional Skills which is planned to go live in the Spring of 2016.
